Senior Firmware/Electronics Engineer

Prosilica (www.prosilica.com) designs and manufactures high performance CCD cameras for machine vision and industrial applications. Founded in 2003, Prosilica is now the world-leader for GigE Vision-compliant CCD cameras.

Role:

As a Senior Firmware Electronics Engineer, you will invent, design, and implement embedded firmware in our machine vision cameras. This role needs a highly skilled engineer who can take the breadth and freedom of the role and deliver a high impact product.

Responsibilities:

• high-speed communications interfaces
• high-speed memory interfaces,
• designing logic for high data-rate image capture and real-time image manipulation

Skills:

• demonstrated skills in logic design for FPGAs, implemented in VHDL
• demonstrated skills in embedded software design, implemented in C 

Experience:

• At least three 5 years relevant experience combined with substantial ability

Education:

• Electrical Engineering degree
