1394 PCI Card with TI Chipset

Prosilica's cameras will work with most OHCI-compliant 1394 interfaces, but some cards have caused some installation problems. Prosilica strongly recommends that customers use only those firewire interfaces that incorporate the "TI chipset". That is to say, they use the Texas Instruments 1394 chip set. These are generally a little more expensive than generic firewire cards, but we have never seen any problems related to TI-based 1394 cards.
