CV1280F - Discontinued
[pdf brochure][mechanical diagram][specifications]

Firewire over fiber optic cable! The CV1280F has an IEEE-1394B-optical port with direct fiberoptic output (it also has a standard 1394A port). Very long cable lengths with superior cable flex make the CV1280F unique among machine vision cameras.

The CV1280F is suited for applications requiring especially long cable length (up to 500 meters) such as security installations, traffic monitoring, and hazardous environment imaging. The highly flexible cable also makes it particularly suited to robotic applications.

For applications that do not require fiber optic cable, the CV1280 with standard IEEE-1394A ports is a more economical choice and is otherwise identical to the CV1280F
