The CV1280FC with 1394b-optical interface is designed for applications requiring long cable length, highly flexible cabling, or EMI resistance.

The CV1280C is a color version of our popular CV1280 camera. On board color interpolation modes include YUV 4:1:1, YUV 4:2:2, RGB24, and RGB48. The camera can also output non-interpolated raw-bayer output for those situations where maximum framerates are required (less data on firewire).

The Prosilica CV1280FC color camera was designed for machine vision applications. The camera is only suitable for applications where there is lots of light. It is not suitable for colorimetry applications.
