The 11-megapixel GE4000 is a very high-resolution
CCD camera with Gigabit Ethernet output. The 35 mm format sensor used in the GE4000 is the high-quality Kodak KAI-11002 CCD image sensor that provides
exceptionally high resolution, sensitivity, and dynamic range. The GigE Vision™ compliant GE4000 works with
standard gigabit Ethernet hardware and cable lengths up to 100 meters (300 ft) using conventional
Cat-5e network cable.
Applications for the GE4000 include LCD panel inspection,
semiconductor wafer inspection, solar panel inspection, high-resolution industrial inspection, aerial photography, 3-D metrology, general machine
vision, public security, surveillance, traffic
imaging (Intelligent Traffic Systems), embedded systems,
and OEM applications.
