PC1394B Fiber PCI Card - 800 Mbps

Prosilica's "F"-series cameras including the CV1280F and CV640F have direct fiber optic output over IEEE-1394B-optical. In order to connect these cameras to a host computer, Prosilica has provided two options: (a) PC1394B Fiber PCI card, (b) FA1394B Fiber Adaptor.

Shown here is the PC1394B Fiber PCI card which as two 1394b inputs. The card accepts direct connection of IEEE-1394B-optical fiber optic cable (LC-LC 50/125 multimode) and also 1394B-9-pin input. The PC1394B is a general purpose IEEE-1394B interface card operating at 800 Mbps and can be used to interface any IEEE-1394B device to a computer.

The card is also available with a 1/2-height bracket.
