SMB - SMB Trigger Cables

Prosilica GE-Series gigabit Ethernet cameras and CV-Series firewire cameras include two mini-SMB connectors for trigger/sync I/O (additional trigger I/O is available on the 12-pin Hirose connector). Prosilica offers SMB-SMB cables of various lengths to provide easily connected trigger input and/or sync output.

These SMB-SMB cables can also be used to synchronize any number of Prosilica cameras by daisy-chaining "sync-out" to "trigger-in" connections on consecutive cameras.

The National Instruments' Compact Vision System, and other NI hardware, also uses mini-SMB connectors for triggering and timing signals. Prosilica's SMB-SMB cables are especially suited to interfacing the camera trigger connectors to NI's CVS.
