DCAM Modes - Use Scalable Image, Mode 0

There is a fairly long list of DCAM modes that could be used. For example, the following modes are a sampling of the possible modes:

640x480 Y (Mono 16) (7.5 fps)
640x480 Y (Mono 16) ( 30 fps)
...
1024x960 Y (Mono) (15 fps)
...
1280x960 Y (Mono 8) (30 fps)
...
Scalable Image, Mode 0 (also called Format 7, Mode 0)
Scalable Image, Mode 1 (Format 7, Mode 1)

When using any Prosilica firewire camera you should only use "Scalable Image, Mode 0" (Format 7, Mode 0). This mode allows region of interest readout and other controls.

"Scalable Image, Mode 1" will operate the CV1280 camera in decimation mode. In this mode, only every 2nd pixel is displayed, resulting in higher framerates with a large field of view, but reduced resolution. The other modes will work, but may give unexpected results.
